A Great Wordpress 2.5 To Try
Written by techieDan on April 2, 2008 – 10:58 amIt’s now the second day of April. Yes, and it’s belated April Fool’s day. Wonder why they call it April Fool’s Day. Sometimes prank played on this day was like horrible for me.
Anyway, for those that didn’t get the news especially those embarking or going to get their own domain and going to host their blog on a wordpress platform, you guys are lucky. The new Wordpress 2.5 is now officially out. Well, haven’t really tested it out on localhost yet, but from other reviews I see that it really is good in terms of statistics findings.
I really must thank the wordpress team for coming up with such a great blog platform software.

Presenting Wordpress 2.3.2
Written by techieDan on December 30, 2007 – 1:26 pmFor those bloggers hosting on their own domain and using Wordpress from Wordpress.org, here’s a brand new update. I am sure for those using the previous version Wordpress 2.3.1 will have this on their site.
Now this is what I was talking. For those that are still using 2.3.1, the word ‘A new version of WordPress is available! Please update now. Now why change? Why upgrade?
Here are the reasons why one should upgrade. Well, you remember all your drafts that are planned to be revealed at a later time. People can still access it even if was in draft mode. So version 2.3.2 has so called hide it. Another important feature this version has is the cover up for DB errors being parsed out onto the page.
Well, what do I mean by DB errors?
Imagine if your wordpress template, you added a php code and suddenly it goes wrong, it’ll come out a message depicting the error on the screen. Now Wordpress Version 2.3.2 now helps cover that message up by redirecting to an error page. So it’s more like a 404 page but this is more for DB (database) errors.
If you need to read more about this version and how to upgrade, why not visit Wordpress site and learn to upgrade and keep your blog safe and secure from these loopholes.
