2 Colums or 3 Columns
Written by techieDan on May 16, 2008 – 9:44 pmPersonally, some people find that on a site, it’s wise to design your blog into a 2 column blog. Though times have changed, there are even four column blog themes. But then that’s out of the topic.
To me I personally feel that I have a balance of both 2 and 3 columns amongst all my blogs. Well, having said that, it all depends on your taste or whatever you’re blogging about. Some even put their blogroll on the main page, which I presumably would ensure that this kind of blog needs a 3 column theme.
Practical isn’t it? Well, why do you chose a 3 column, 2 column, sometimes is just a mystery. But I’ve a 2 column blog theme modified on the design. The problem is how do I create the Blog Theme Viewer for others to demo. This is getting on my nerve.

Keyboard Style Typing
Written by techieDan on May 13, 2008 – 1:40 pmIf you’re into computers, most of you younger ones or rather addictive ones will be able to master this sort of skill in a few months, or even a year. Well, what I meant was your fingers grew accustomed to the keyboard you’re using that it seems they are glued towards the keyboard.
This ain’t a syndrome. Well, you can call it sticky fingers syndrome. I used to type on a laptop during my earlier working days, thus I am so not used to a keyboard all of a sudden. But then it takes time to get used to it. Now typing on a keyboard seems mighty easy without me even looking at the keyboard and monitor while talking to someone.
By the way not all people type the same way, some uses the traditional way, but most of the time I will be using like 2 or 3 finger from each hand. This is kind of peculiar, don’t you think so. It’s like your fingers know where to go to type and how wide the keyboard is.

So because of that, a new DVD Writer is in the hands.

So farewell CD-Rs, it’s time for more DVD writing instead. I am so backend, don’t you think so?

Bloggers Being Scrutinised
Written by techieDan on April 4, 2008 – 8:06 pmIf you’re in Malaysia, I think most of you have known that there was one time when the governing bodies thought of scrutinizing the bloggers and keeping track of what they do in the Internet. Well, those days when Jeff Ooi appeared in court due to so called allegations. For that reason, bloggers went united and twas the blogging industry malaysia bloomed further due to the publicity that occasion created.
Well, after the elections, it seems that a few things have changed with more freedom around. Even the current information minister even talk about bloggers and now listen to bloggers comments and views. I must say this is a very sudden change. Firstly, credit to the recent elections, this sudden change are what caused this. Well, with no more 2/3 majority, it’s time the public speak their hearts out.
So if you’re a blogger, don’t be afraid. But also don’t go overboard.

Personal Thoughts on Technology
Written by techieDan on March 21, 2008 – 11:01 pmThis blog might be technical, but it’s good to get to know what makes me technically incline to post about technical stuffs here. One thing though, no matter what people say or do, technology is never enough. You can actually see in this world that technology is rapidly evolving. Well, they even have robots that are so going to emulate humans.
My opinion is that this will benefit mainly in terms of less work for human error and more to machinery expertise to help to do the job. The consequences though is that we are going to be lazy every moment of our life. No wonder now we have cases of younger children getting obese at a super super young age. All because they just sit in front of the pc and do nothing else but play games or rather those that play with console games most of the time.
I admit I am a tech enthusiast but I do order my life to be balanced between outdoor sports and tech life. Well, I wouldn’t want to miss the chance to enjoy outdoor life while we all can, don’t we?
