Technology is Moving Fast
Written by techieDan on September 25, 2008 – 9:53 pmIn terms of your thumb drive, previously, it cost a freaking RM140 for a 126MB thumb drive 3.5 years ago. Fast forward to our timezone now, one can get a 4Gb thumbdrive for a cost of RM40. Times have changed, technology has evolved.
Storage space is now not only comes in compact mode, it’s big and with more chips invented, there is more to come with the 16Gb already out in the market. Those days we don’t hear of Hard Disks at 1TB(TerraByte) for sale but now even a 500Gb is for sale for only RM300++ roughly about USD80-90.
With further more expectations of the human population now, technology has evolved. It looks like more technical needs are needed these days.

Google Chrome Browser
Written by techieDan on September 3, 2008 – 8:20 pm
Just when you thought Firefox and Internet Explorer was the dominating figure with Safari, Opera in the background, another strong powerhorse of the Internet market is making their own browser. What more but Google who developer their own browser named the Google Chrome.
Well, in case you didn’t know, it’s now available for DOWNLOAD HERE. Well, so far response from certain users has said that Google Chrome is fast and browses the web quite efficiently. Only though, it still doesn’t support other small applications on the web like plurk and for certain websites, it displays haywirely.
After testing and trying out this browser, techieDan has found out that it’s not a bad browser to use, with the memory consumption lesser than usual. Can even import your bookmarks and history from Firefox which should come in handy to those that wants to shift over to Chrome.
Well, so be it, being new in this market but we shall never underestimate the power of Google and their developments. Looks like it’s time to carry on moving forward and look forward to more developments.

Written by techieDan on September 3, 2008 – 3:12 amIt’s been downright selfish of me to so called kill the site of TechieDan with all the technical infos and stuffs related to it. Well, it’s when there are more things to wonder as to how can this technical blog surfaced to rekindle it’s usefulness to the society.
This is where I need a public response. What would you like to see? A multi diversified kind of topic, or a specific topic to be discussed and to be able to present to the readers out there.
So it’s plain important that it’s important that readers do give their feedbacks
