Button Javascript in Wordpress

Written by techieDan on June 14, 2008 – 8:22 pm

Previously I wrote about how to write a simple javascript button for normal webpages. But it looks like it’s utterly different for creating a button in Wordpress. Well, basically there’s a way to write it. With that too, you can actually have a lot of other things like a statistics counter to count how many times a user has clicked. Well, depends on how well you know though.

How did I create this button on Wordpress? SIMPLE!!

<button onclick="javascript:alert('Hello!\nWelcome to TechieDan.com')">
CLICK ME</button>

Straightforward, so have some fun with Javascript Buttons on Wordpress.

50 Rupiah

Written by techieDan on June 11, 2008 – 12:52 pm

What can 50 cents buy you these days? Well, practically nothing much now. I’ve got this thing about collecting coins from other countries and the one that amazed me the most was the 50 Rupiah from Indonesia.

Yes you heard me right. In countries like Malaysia, England, Australia you have what you called a cent coin system. But in places like Indonesia, Japan, Korea you have the fixed currencies which have no cents at all. So considering that, things are paid by a thousand like 10,000 Rupiah for a piece of bread. Hmm… but a significant 50 Rupiah, that’s rare though. So here’s how a 50 Rupiah looks like.

50 Rupiah

It’s feels a bit light. If only 50 Rupiah was 50 Pound.

Card Reader For All

Written by techieDan on June 5, 2008 – 12:54 am

Those days, they came up with SD Card, everyone was awed. Now there are XD Cards, CF Cards, Micro SD Cards, Mini SD Cards and other cards. Sometimes we can’t limit ourselves to one card with some phones using Micro SD and Memory Stick that we need a card reader for all types. Well, I bought mine for RM14.90, and why I bought it was for the Micro SD slot as most of the rest don’t have it.

Multiple Card Reader

Well, from the description it can read T-Flash, Micro SD, SD, Mini SD, MMC, MMC plus, RS-MMC, MMC mobile, MS, MS Pro, MS Duo, MS Duo Pro. Now that’s a lot.

Need one, if the demand is good, I might start something. So far it reads quite fast unlike other card readers that I have used.
